Noxubee Reunion information:

Raye and I visited Jacksonville , Fl. On 22 and 23 January. Ed Caudill met us on the 23rd. We stayed at the Crowne Plaza Jacksonville Riverfront, the host hotel for our October 2013 Noxubee Reunion . The hotel was very nice and Staff extremely friendly and helpful. If you have a computer or computer access you may make your Hotel reservation on the Noxubee web site under reunion information, or call 800-227-6963 or 904-398-8800 ext 4027. If you encounter any difficulties making you reservations please contact me immediately so I can get them cleared up for others.

We have set up a tour of the Historic St , Augustine Florida area. St Augustine Florida was founded in September 1565. It is the oldest continuously occupied city in the continental US.

During our time in Jacksonville we also took a Water Taxi ($3.00 per person each way, $2.00 per person for seniors) to The Jacksonville Landing. They have shops and specialty shops, Adams Class Naval Ship Museum , Jacksonville Maritime Museum . Restaurants include The American Grill, Benny’s Steak and Seafood, Chicago Pizza and Sports Grill, Cinco de Mayo Mexican Restaurant, Fionn MacCools Authentic Irish Food, Mexican Food, Koja Sushi, Mavericks Rock and Honky Tonk Country, HOOTers, Village Bread Café and Vito’s Italian Café. There is also a Food Court upstairs. The Landing is open from 10 AM till 8Pm  M-Th, Fri and Sat till 9PM Sun Noon till 5:50 PM The restaurants, Café’s and nightclubs remain open later .

**Shipmates Directory information**

There have been attempts to hack into Shipmates Directory with address listings. Stuart removed addresses, email addresses and telephone listings from the site. If you want to contact another shipmate and do not have their number call or e-mail me, I will give you the information I have on file. If anyone has changed their personal information, PLEASE forward corrections to enable me to maintain updated listings.

Annual Dues:  The Noxubee Association by laws has a $20.00  annual dues to offset costs of maintaining the Noxubee Web Site, mailing of the Noxubee Shipmates Newsletter. Dues are paid for the calendar year January through December. Payment may be made by mailing it to Bob Ahlersmeyer, Treasurer USS Noxubee Shipmates Assoc. 8033 Seiler Rd. , Fort Wayne , IN 46806

Noxubee Shirts and Hats

A limited order has been placed for shirts, If you want to order a shirt please contact me so we can insure there will be one available for you by size. Shirts in sizes XXL and above have an additional fee, $2.00 +-. If you order for the reunion you can save additional shipping charges, I will bring them to Jacksonville for you.
